Fiiz Friday Winner! December 8, 2017

Congratulations to Derek Ford, our Fiiz Friday gift card winner. Derek is an 8th grader here at Diamond Fork and so far has accomplished something pretty unique. Derek has never earned any grade lower than an A, yep never even an A-. That is pretty amazing and we are proud to have Derek represent Diamond Fork Jr. Keep up the great work Derek!

November Students of the Month

  • We are pleased to recognize our Diamond Fork “November Students of the Month”. These students were selected by their teachers and peers as those who not only excel academically, but who are examples of good character and kindness. These students were honored this morning at a breakfast with their parents and those who nominated them. We are so appreciative of these and the many others like them who work hard and make Diamond Fork a great place. We appreciate our Science department for recognizing students for the month of November.

Students Learn from city EMT

Students had the opportunity to learn the basics of CPR and other emergency medical procedures yesterday when a Spanish Fork EMT came to visit. There was a lot of good information that is important for students to know.

Choir Debuts Composer's New Music

Darren Major, a member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and a well know music composer and friend of Mrs. Lewis, let our Diamond Fork Choir be the first to perform his newest Christmas compostions tonight at our Christmas concert. The beautiful "One Baby Boy, " Bethlehem," and "O Come Emanuel" brought the Christmas spirit to the audience in this inspirational choir concert.  Mr. Majors was a special guest at the concert this evening to hear our choir members perform his work. He was thrilled with their performance.

Crystal Apple Award to Mr. Olsen

A sense of humor, ties, kindness, and being a student favorite. These are just a few of the qualities that describe Mr. Dennis Olsen, math teacher here at Diamond Fork. Mr. Olsen is such a deserving recipient of the Crystal Apple Award. He is a fantastic teacher, but he is an even better person. We are so fortunate to have him here at Diamond Fork, and seriously check out the ties, they are awesome!
