Character Education

Character Education students at Diamond Fork Junior High School have been busy.  Every Friday of the school year this class of 35 seventh graders collects hundreds of pounds of used paper to recycle.  After visiting every room in this school of 1,200 students, the used paper is then hauled to the back parking lot and deposited into the recycling bins.  This recycled paper is purchased by a recycling company, which generates over $300 a year.

Students of the Month

Every month at Diamond Fork Junior High two students from the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades are selected as students of the month.  These students are nominated and then voted on by the entire faculty.  The students of the month for October are:

7th Grade: Sophia Hirst and Jefferson Ballard

8th Grade: Nani Huffman and Alex Knudsen

9th Grade: Daniela Nunez and J.T. Pontius

Have you heard of "$5 On Fridays?" Each student at Diamond Fork has a chance to earn five dollars every Friday for having perfect attendance each week! In order to have a chance to earn five dollars at the end of each week students must have no absences or tardies Monday-Friday. This great idea was started last year by our Vice Principal Mr. Lawrence. The goal is to encourage students to strive for great attendance.

Diamondbacks In Action!

Diamond Fork Junior High's core values include integrity, courage, compassion, perserverance and respect.  This month we would like to share an amazing story of integrity as demonstrated by fellow Diamondback Kaden Crowther.
